Oscar-nominated musician, songwriter and sound designer Lucinda Barry Belle trained as an international-standard harpist and, while living in London, released the 2010 debut album My Voice and 45 Strings as the Lucinda Belle Orchestra. She worked in the studio and on stage with Annie Lennox, Gregory Porter, James Blunt and many other stars. In 2015, she was nominated for an Oscar for Best Song with ‘Going Nowhere,’ for the documentary For No Good Reason, featuring Johnny Depp.
Now living in San Francisco, she performs regular solo shows on social media. With a new focus and studies on sound wellbeing and sound design, Lucinda is working on the Interactive Chamber Orchestra which reimagines the dynamics between audience, performer and environment, synthesising all three to create a a new listening experience.
